Help us make a difference for families in the Closter community this holiday season. We are collecting essential items like stuffing, canned cranberry sauce, gravy, peas, carrots, corn, mixed vegetables, mashed potato mix, and boxed macaroni and cheese. The final day for drop offs is on Friday, November 22. Let’s show our Closter spirit and come together for this wonderful cause!
Our lost and found is overflowing with clothing, jackets, water bottles, and more. We encourage all students to check the lost and found area to retrieve any missing items. Please remind your child to take a look when they are at school. We will donate any unclaimed items on Friday, November 22. Thank you for helping us keep our school organized!
There is no school on Thursday, November 28 and on Friday, November 29 for our Thanksgiving break. School resumes on Monday, December 2. Have a safe and enjoyable break!
The after school academic assistance program will begin on October 22. It will run each week, Tuesday through Thursday, from 3:10 to 4:10 p.m. This year the program will primarily focus on math. Throughout the school year, our teachers will recommend students to the program who they believe could benefit from reviewing the math lesson from that day or week. We will notify you if your child is recommended to this program. Please feel free to contact Mr. McElroy via email with any questions.

As always, we appreciate any feedback regarding what we do here at Tenakill Middle School to ensure that your child has the best experience as a middle school student.
